Ravi Shankar is a dubbing artist and son of PJ Sharma, an actor. He is also the brother of Sai Kumar, a dubbing artist and an actor. He made his debut as hero in R Narayana Murthy’s ‘Aalochinchandi’ . He also acted as a villain in ‘Toli Valapu’ which was Gopichand’s debut film.

Ravi directed the Kannada blockbuster movie ‘Durgi’. He also provided story for Jr.NTR’s film ‘Narasimhudu’ and penned dialogues for 200 films in Telugu and Tamil.

He started dubbing as a profession and lend his voice for villains and character artists like Nassar, Charan Raj, Raghuvaran, Ashish Vidyardhi, Sonu Sood, Mukesh Rushi and Pradeep Rawat in all south Indian languages. Ravi Shankar dubbed for 2600 films in different languages. He received five Nandi Awards from Government of Andhra Pradesh.
